Eddy Raven was one of those singers. Who to me was very under rated and never really got the credit he deserved. This cd was recorded in at the height of his popularity. It had five hits on it. Shine Shine Shine, Sometimes A Lady, which I love. Right Hand Man,, and You're Never Too Old For Young Love. I guess that's four hits/5(2).

Born Edward Garvin Futch, it's no wonder that his name was changed by a record executive to Eddy Raven on his very first single, released on tiny Cosmo Records in the late '60s. Numerous influences made his music almost indescribable: the Cajun sounds of his native Louisiana, the blues influence from working with Johnny Winter, the rock & roll of his idol, Elvis Presley, and the pure country.
